My vision . . .
Within me, cultural harmonics from the African and Asian continents melded with Impressionist European elements.
The immediate, natural world holds me such that my projects are infused with the organic lines, textures, colours of Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Berthe Morisot, Paul Cézanne, Édouard Manet, J. M. W. Turner.
The raw vibrancy of these artists speaks to me.
In the words of Turner, "Atmosphere is my style."
Technology and technique sublimated to artistic impulse.
To capture the natural essence of the world, to bring it directly to the visual and tactile medium is my mission. I invoke my impressions through unique material selection and disciplined fabrication techniques.
There are articles of clothing and accessories such as hats, belts, handbags and jewelry that I design with technical elements. These designs range from cyberpunk subtle to steampunk retro expessions of common personal, mobile accoutrement.
